He has been quoted as saying, in Tass, that he doesn't expect much from this summit and that the Russians are perfectly willing to talk human rights but it will be in conjunction with a discussion of things like the treatment of the rioters on Jan 6th. That doesn't sound like net optimism to me.
The other thing, the question, has to do with the news that the US has, once again, been caught flagrante delicto, hacking, tapping and what not the leaders of various EU countries, aided and abetted by Denmark. This, of course, is the real thing. It's not the weak sister you offered of Microsoft and other shadowy players (almost certainly the CIA using their misdirection tools that Snowden revealed) hacking USAID that probably has little or nothing to do with reality.
